Galia is the most popular melon type in Europe
The wide range of melon types along with diverse consumption habits among purchasers offers great potential for specialisation on the part of producers. This is one of the conclusions drawn by the latest study on melon consumption in Europe conducted by Syngenta, in which consumption habits in eight European countries are analysed.
