Charentais

Also called French Melons, are considered by many the most divine and flavourful melons in the world. Increasingly popular and quite expensive, the skin is a grayish, yellow-green colour and the flesh is very sweet and orange. When ripe, they have a wonderfully complex and full-bodied aroma with flowery overtones. The skin also loses the grey cast and changes to a warmer yellow colour.
